Battling the emperor of all maladies

The word Cancer elicits fear and terror amongst many. The Pulitzer award winning book by Siddhartha Mukherjee traces back to the journey of this dreaded malady. Just finished reading it and found it really endearing. A cancer patient just has one wish-to live.

One cant imagine what they go through. It only makes us realize that health is the absolute wealth and prevention is better than cure.

This is in support and prayers of all those battling this emperor of all maladies.

How does one prevent it?I have known people with regulated life and food habits with no vices whatsoever struck by this malady?I would put it as the result of purva janma sins as no other explanation fits in.
I am waiting for the day when a prevention and cure would be found for this.

Well one thing is your diet. Include lots of cabbage and broccoli in it. Well if that fails, the only way to cure it by detecting it in the early stages. So that makes regular check ups a must.
